Our site

We invested heavily in our purpose-built tyre recycling site. It sits beside the main A17 (North/South) trunk road, one mile from the main A52 (East/West) trunk road, 4 miles west of Boston in Lincolnshire.

To enable us to process up to 10,400 tonnes of waste tyres a year on this site we went through an exacting process:

  1. Planning Permission - The first stage in the process was getting planning permission to process 10,400 tons of used tyres on the site.
  2. Enviroment Agency Permit - The second stage involved getting a full EA permit, a demanding process.
  3. Site Development - To gain our permit the site had to be purpose built to a specific standard. We now have a 20,000 sq ft warehouse, a fully concreted yard, a 2m high palisade fence around the whole site, security cameras, lights and a 90,000 litre water-attenuation scheme to combat the fire risk. In addition, we installed a 50 ton weighbridge. Find out more here.

Licensing and Regulation

The Environment Agency is responsible for licensing and regulating scrap tyre collectors and recyclers in the UK. We have a full permit. Find out more here.

However, it is possible to work as a waste tyre collector with only a carrier and broker exemption licence, gained with the minimum of qualifications and investment. Most of these operators exceed their trading limit regularly, resulting in the Environment Agency eventually having to shut the business. This leaves customers, landowners and councils with an unsightly and unsafe mess to clear-up.

As a fully compliant and heavily invested business we offer our customers full traceability and peace of mind. When it comes to recycling or disposing of your used tyres you could not be in better hands.

Operating Area

our preferred collection area

One of the major costs when disposing of scrap tyres is transport. We offer customers within a 75 mile radius of our site great prices. If you are outside this area there could be a small additional charge to cover our additional transport costs.

For clarity we are very competitive for used tyre collection and disposal in the following counties:

  • Cambridgeshire
  • Derbyshire
  • Huntingdonshire
  • Lincolnshire
  • Leicestershire
  • Nottinghamshire
  • Norfolk
  • Northamptonshire
  • Rutland
  • Suffolk
  • Yorkshire

Outside of these areas if the quantity of used tyres is significant, collections are regular or customers can deliver to us then we will still be competitive.

Please contact us for more information, we will always help.
