Envirotyre UK Limited was formed in 2002. Our business is the collection and processing of scrap tyres, specifically the recycling of end-of-life tyres by turning them into bales for use in construction projects or as a fossil fuel replacement.
Since we started trading customer service and legal compliance are the twin pillars on which we built our reputation. Our site is fully licenced by the Environment Agency, as are our vehicles which transport the waste tyres and tyre bales.
We are members of the TRA. A cornerstone of the body is its support for the Tyre Industry Federation's Responsible Recycler Scheme. All TRA members are fully accredited by the scheme, which guarantees that all tyres collected, recycled or reprocessed by them are disposed of or reused in an environmentally friendly manner or best practice methods.
This accreditation gives you the piece of mind that you are dealing with an industry leader, and that your obligation to dispose of waste tyres properly will be met in full.
To find out more about the TRA follow this link.
Our customers now number over 1500. From local farmers and tyre fitters to high street retailers and County Councils they use us regularly, many having weekly or monthly collections. And of course, they have full traceability of their waste tyres to prove they have been disposed of correctly.
Kiril Mischeff, a major food processing group purchased a site in Lincolnshire on which 900 tons of waste tyres had been abandoned. Alan Smith, Financial Director contacted Envirotyre and the site was cleared in 3 weeks. Alan commented: "Envirotyre handled the whole process from start to finish. The site looks much better and the risk posed by the abandoned tyres has been eradicated."
We are a small, friendly team. Get to know us.....
