Envirotyre UK Limited (Envirotyre) is committed to the protection of your privacy. We understand that we have a responsibility to protect and respect your privacy and look after your personal data.

This Privacy Policy and our Terms and Conditions explain what personal data we may collect, how we use your personal data, reasons we may need to disclose your personal data to others and how we store your personal data securely.

For clarity, Envirotyre may be both data controller and data processor, as defined in the 2018 General Data Protection Regulations, of your personal data under certain circumstances.

Who is Envirotyre?

Envirotyre is a collector and processor of waste tyres and rubber tracks, based in Sutterton, Lincolnshire. Envirotyre has a registered office at Reed Point, Sutterton, Lincolnshire, PE20 2EP. Danielle King is the registered Data Protection Officer for Envirotyre.

How the Law Protects You

Data protection laws state that we are able to process personal data if we have valid reasons to do so. Recital 47 of the GDPR allows for the processing of personal information for our legitimate business interests in terms of direct marketing. "Legitimate Interests" means the interests of our company in conducting and managing our business to enable us to offer you the best services and products, and the best and most secure experience. Other reasons we process your personal data include, but are not limited to, your consent, performance of a contract, billing and to contact you.

How do we collect personal data from you?

We receive information about you when you use our website, complete forms on our website, contact us by phone, email, attend an event, live-chat or otherwise in respect of any of our products or service or during the purchase of any product or service. Additionally we may also collect information from you when you inform us of any other matter.

What type of data do we collect from you?

The personal data that we may collect from you includes your name, job title, business and/or private address, business and/or private email address, business and/or private phone numbers, business and/or private payment information and IP addresses. We may also keep details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data. We also retain records of your queries and correspondence, in the event you contact us.

How do we use your data?

We use information about you in the following ways:

• To process orders that you have submitted to us;
• To provide you with products and services;
• To comply with the contractual obligations we have with you;

Third Parties

We do not and never shall sell your personal data to third parties for any purpose.

We work with a number of third parties (including business partners, service providers and fraud protection services) and we may receive information from them about you.

We may pass your personal data to a third party for the provision of a service on our behalf (for example processing your payment). However, we will only ever share information about you that is necessary for us to provide a product and/or service to you, and we have specific contracts in place, which ensure your personal data is secure and will not be used for any marketing purposes.

We may share your information if we are acquired by a third party and therefore your data will be deemed an asset of the business. In these circumstances, we may disclose your personal data to the prospective buyer of our business, subject to both parties entering into appropriate confidentiality undertakings. Similarly, we may share your personal data if we are under a duty to disclose data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Envirotyre, our customers, or others. This includes but is not limited to exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection, credit risk reduction and dispute policies. However, we will take steps with the aim of ensuring that your privacy rights continue to be protected.

Your rights

You have the right to object to our use of your personal data, or ask us to delete, remove or stop using it if there is no need for us to keep it.

This is known as your right to be forgotten.

In preventing the use or processing of your personal data, you may delay or prevent us from fulfilling our contractual obligations to you. It may also mean that we shall be unable to provide our products or services or process the cancellation of your contract.

There are legal and accountancy reasons why we will need to keep your data, but please inform us if you think we are retaining or using your personal data incorrectly.

You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will not contact you for marketing purposes unless you have given us your consent.

Use of cookies

Cookies are small text files that our website places on your computer when you access one of our websites. Cookies help you to navigate our websites and perform various functions.

Cookies enhance your online experience by saving your preferences. We also use cookies to measure activity on our websites and determine which areas and features are the most popular.

Google Analytics Cookies:

Google Analytics sets first party cookies via a piece of JavaScript code which must be added to every page that site owners want to track. It sets four cookies automatically, and a fifth via opt-in (this relates to sharing information about your traffic with Google).

Globally and in the European Union member states Google sets the following cookies:

_ _utma Cookie

A persistent cookie - remains on a computer, unless it expires or the cookie cache is cleared. It tracks visitors. Metrics associated with the Google __utma cookie include: first visit (unique visit), last visit (returning visit). This also includes Days and Visits to purchase calculations which afford ecommerce websites with data intelligence around purchasing sales funnels.

_ _utmb Cookie & _ _utmc Cookie

These cookies work in tandem to calculate visit length. Google __utmb cookie demarks the exact arrival time, then Google __utmc registers the precise exit time of the user.

Because __utmb counts entrance visits, it is a session cookie, and expires at the end of the session, e.g. when the user leaves the page. A timestamp of 30 minutes must pass before Google cookie __utmc expires. Given__utmc cannot tell if a browser or website session ends. Therefore, if no new page view is recorded in 30 minutes the cookie is expired.

This is a standard 'grace period' in web analytics. Ominture and WebTrends among many others follow the same procedure.

_ _utmz Cookie

Cookie _ _utmz monitors the HTTP Referrer and notes where a visitor arrived from, with the referrer siloed into type (Search engine (organic or cpc), direct, social and unaccounted). From the HTTP Referrer the _ _utmz Cookie also registers, what keyword generated the visit plus geolocation data.

This cookie lasts six months. In tracking terms this Cookie is perhaps the most important as it will tell you about your traffic and help with conversion information such as what source / medium / keyword to attribute for a Goal Conversion.

_ _utmv Cookie

Google _ _utmv Cookie lasts "forever". It is a persistant cookie. It is used for segmentation, data experimentation and the _ _utmv works hand in hand with the _ _utmz cookie to improve cookie targeting capabilities.

Links to other sites

Our websites may provide links to third party sites. Since we do not control those websites, we encourage you to review the privacy policies of these third party sites. Any information that is supplied on these sites will not be within our control and we cannot be responsible for the privacy policies and practices of these.

Where we store your personal data

We follow accepted standards to store and protect the personal data we collect, including the use of encryption if appropriate.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers within the EEA.

As the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure even though we use SSL encryption, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site and any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

We have assessed the risk to individuals and their rights resulting from a data breach as no more than possible inconvenience in most cases. We assess this case by case looking at all relevant factors.

Sensitive data (card details for example) is not processed or stored by Envirotyre but by a payment processor.

Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our website, you are responsible for keeping the password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.

We agree to take reasonable measures to protect your data in accordance with applicable.

In the event of a data breach, we shall ensure that our obligations under applicable data protection laws are complied with where necessary.
